Kinesiology is a stress management tool, and using muscle testing as biofeedback, works on the level of stimulating energy to release blockages to assist the body via its own innate intelligence, to initiate homeostasis. The body has millions of energy passages called Nadis, Chakras and Meridians that exchange subtle energies and communicate information between organs and glands. By asking the body very specific questions in its own unique language, reveals the stress, so that it can be diffused.
The power of Kinesiology is in making us aware of our subconscious belief systems. With this knowledge, we have the power to make real and lasting change.
– Anna Mason, Kinesiologist
What is muscle testing?
Kinesiology uses muscle testing to access states of stress and imbalances in our body and energetic systems, in order to remove them. It uses the body’s own biofeedback mechanisms to identify blockages which can be as a result of physical, emotional, spiritual or energetic causes.
The method of muscle testing is used to access the bio-feedback loop that travels from the muscle to the brain via the central nervous system, causing a state of stress. During your Kinesiology session we gather information to reveal stress so that it can be released at each stage of the balance.
Kinesiology identifies and harmonises specific areas including:
- Energy states, including the Yin and Yang aspects
- Indian Nadi and Chakra systems
- Chinese Meridian and Acupressure systems
- Beliefs and attitudes
- Archetypes – like the rescuer, self-sabotager, victim, pleaser, martyr, perfectionist, workaholic, procrastinator, day-dreamer and many others.
- Nutrition and methylation
- Immune and hormones
- Specific organs
- Brain areas
- Epigenetic factors
- Physical and emotional stress
- Relationships
- Life path, goals and dreams
Identifying and releasing blockages
Muscle testing is used to gain direct feedback from the body, thereby tapping into the subconscious mind. It identifies unconscious patterns and beliefs, as well as the sabotaging behaviours that have stopped you from living the life you want.
Kinesiology discovers what blockages exist that are preventing you from achieving your goals on an emotional and mental level. It gathers information regarding where the blockages exist, so they can be released. Once unimpeded, your body can resume working efficiently and return to a state of balance. Your physical, emotional and biochemical energies will then once again be working in harmony.
Are you ready to explore what barriers are holding you back?
Every Kinesiology session is different and is personally tailored to your specific needs. From feeling more confident, healthy and aligned, to being able to make better decisions and achieve your goals. By accessing the subconscious mind and obtaining accurate information about current and pressing issues, Kinesiology can help you restore the balance in your body, mind and spirit.
The unique aspect is that this type of gathering of information accesses limiting beliefs, preconceived notions and patterns of behaviour that predermine your perspective. It allows them to be brought to the surface to be realigned into something more positive and powerful in the conscious mind, while being devoid of any stress.
Healing through heart work
Why is Kinesiology healing?
If you’re feeling stressed and or unwell, your body will be stuck in a predominantly sympathetic state, causing it to stop regenerating and rejuvenating. This fight/flight response when activated for prolonged periods of time, exposes your body to high levels of cortisol and other stress hormones. Research has shown that chronic psychological stress is associated with the body’s ability to regulate the inflammatory response, causing havoc on the mind and body, which is the root cause of disease. This is precisely why there’s healing through Kinesiology.
Over time, this disrupts almost all of your body’s processes including:
- hormones
- digestion
- cellular repair
- sugar cravings
- immune system regulation
- assimilation and utilisation of vitamins and minerals
- brain function and memory
- mental and emotional health
- detoxification processes
